How to get there
BY CAR

From Rome: Take the A1 motorway towards Naples and take the Cassino exit. From here, follow the signs for Sora via the Strada Statale SS509. Continue on the SS509 until you reach Forca d’Acero.

From Naples: Take the A1 motorway towards Rome and exit at Caianello. Continue on the SS85 towards Venafro, then take the SS83 towards Alfedena. From here, follow the signs for Opi and then for Forca d’Acero.

BY TRAIN OR BUS

Reaching Forca d’Acero by public transport requires a combination of train and bus.

From Rome: Take a train from Roma Termini station to Cassino. From Cassino station, use local bus services to reach Sora. From Sora, COTRAL buses connect to San Donato Val di Comino, from where you can continue to Forca d’Acero.

From Naples: Take a train to Isernia. From Isernia, there are bus connections to Castel di Sangro. From there, local buses run to Opi, from where you can continue to Forca d’Acero.

Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA): Located approximately 85 km from Forca d’Acero.

Pescara Airport (PSR): It is approximately 92 km from the destination.
