The park’s trail network is vast and well-marked, offering numerous options for trail runners of all levels. One of the most popular routes is the loop that starts from Forca d’Acero and crosses the Macchiarvana to the Santuario di Monte Tranquillo. This itinerary, lasting about 2 hours and 24 minutes, allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature, offering spectacular views and technical sections that will test your skills.
Another noteworthy trail is Sentiero F4, which connects Valle Fondillo to Valico di Forca d’Acero. This trail crosses the picturesque Valle Fredda, offering a cool and shaded environment, ideal for summer runs. The route is characterized by a variety of terrain, from the soft leaves of the undergrowth to the more rocky sections, offering an exciting challenge for trail runners.
